Jr. High Life

Jr. High Life is our ministry focused on students from 6th - 8th grade. We seek to create a place where students can come and feel free to be themselves and share their lives in a safe and fun setting. Students are also encouraged to bring their friends to share in this experience in hopes of creating avenues by which they can share the Gospel with their lost friends. Jr. High Life meets on Sunday evenings in the Student Ministry Room (bottom floor of gym building) from 6-8pm for a time of games, worship, teaching and small group discussion.

Events

Throughout the year we have various Jr. High Life events that are designed to increase spiritual growth, create community and deepen relationships.

Lock-in: Each year we have a Lock-in (typically in the Fall) where we play awesome games, watch movies and enjoy hanging out with one another all night long.

Weekend Retreats: Retreats are opportunities to get away from the craziness of life, turn off the world and connect with Jesus. They are always packed with games, and feature meetings with times of worship and a guest speaker. The retreats are usually from a Friday-Sunday.

The Edge: Our Summer Middle School Conference is held each summer at Covenant College on Lookout Mountain, GA. Over 1,000 middle school students from around the southeast attend this conference each year. The Edge features a variety of games and activities, as well as great speakers and amazing worship. The Edge is the highlight of the year for many of our students. For more info visit The Edge website.

Other Special Events: Throughout the year, we have various other special events, including Crud War, Costume Dodgeball, Christmas Party, and Super Bowl Party. Click on the News & Events tab on the right to see what is happening now.
