Serving God In and Through ECPC

We believe it is important for every believer to use the gifts, abilities and life experiences that God has given them for His glory and His purposes. 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

Romans 12:4-6 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.

Only as we do our unique part will the church achieve its God intended effectiveness.

1 Peter 4:10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

All believers are called to serve; all are gifted to serve; all are needed to serve; all are expected to serve.

ECPC is actively engaged in a number of local, regional and national mercy ministries [Serve the Community] dedicated to serving God’s people who are in need of various resources. Additionally, we support individuals and teams (many from our own congregation) that have been called to the mission field to serve in international, cross cultural environments. [Serve the World]

One of the best ways to discover and exercise your spiritual gifts is through a ministry of your local church. Join us at ECPC as we seek to make God’s invisible kingdom visible to all.
