Sr. High Life is our ministry focused on students from 9th - 12th grade. We seek to create a place where students can come and feel free to be themselves and share their lives in a safe and fun setting. Students are also encouraged to bring their friends to share in this experience in hopes of creating avenues by which they can share the Gospel with their lost friends. Sr. High Life meets on Wednesday evenings in the Student Ministry room (bottom floor of gym building) from 7-9pm for a time of games, worship, and teaching.

Sr. High Life
D-Groups: D-groups meet Sunday afternoons. These small groups are made of same grade and gender students and are led by one or two adult volunteers. These groups focus on relational and spiritual depth. Groups typically involve time studying God's Word, asking questions, sharing life stories and experiences, prayer, and accountability. These groups are a place where students and leaders are truly seeking to "sharpen one another" (Proverbs 27:17).
Throughout the year we have various Jr. High Life events that are designed to increase spiritual growth, create community and deepen relationships. If you would like more information on any of these events contact the Student Ministry staff.
Tuesday Morning Prayer Meeting: Meets each Tuesday at 6:30 am at the Palmer's home. This is a time for us to join in prayer not only for each other, but our schools and community.
Fall Retreat: Retreats are opportunities to get away from the craziness of life, turn off the world and focus on Jesus and being with His people. The Fall Retreat serves as a great way to start off the school year by focusing students on their relationship with Christ as they navigate the busyness of the school year. This retreat typically takes place the weekend right before Thanksgiving.
Other Retreats: On alternate years we take either a ski trip or a Spring Retreat as a mid-year break for students in order to refocus and re-energize their faith in Christ.
Mission and Mercy: Each summer we take a week long mission trip. For many years we have gone to St. Louis, MO, to work with a local inner city church (New City Fellowship). During the school year we have Nights of Service where we go into our community and help those in need by partnering with local ministries and through community service projects. Also, every summer our students help serve the children of our church and community through our Vacation Bible School program.
Other Special Events: Throughout the year, we have various other special events, including Costume Dodgeball Tournament, Christmas Party and Chili Bowl.
